Solution Centre
The Solution Centre is a dedicated place where people from across partner organisations come together to create new ways of working. An innovative process that is dedicated to doing things differently and to changing the way we think is being used. At the heart of this problem solving process is the achievement of long-term positive outcomes that are aligned with the Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS).
The following are the initial Solution Centre Programmes that are being undertaken within Peterborough:
- Pilot: Teenage Pregnancy
- Programme 1: Theft from Motor Vehicle
- Programme 2: Childhood Obesity
The key objectives of the Solution Centre can be summarised as follows:
- to develop & implement new solutions to existing problems through a wide process of approaching things differently (e.g. spending time in a different environment, working across organisation silos and creating a different culture which involves different partners from different areas, markets or segments)
- to assume collective accountability and responsibility across partners and develop a shared solution to a shared problem
